How Do You Make Chicken Stir Fry?
Chicken stir fry doesn’t have to be difficult to make.
- Cut the chicken thighs or breast into bite-sized pieces and fry in unsalted butter until tender. Set aside.

- Stir fry vegetables in the same skillet until tender to the bite.
- Prepare the sauce.
- Combine the chicken with vegetables, plain yogurt, and sauce. Simmer until sauce thickens.

Chicken Stir Fry Recipe
Ingredients
- 348 g chicken breast
- 3 carrots sliced, peeled
- 1 Handful of bell pepper
- 1 medium onion
- ½ cup plain yogurt
- 1 garlic clove
- ¼ cup blended tomatoes
- 1 chicken stock cube knorr
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter divided
Instructions
- Cut chicken breast into bite sized pieces. Cut the vegetables into even-sized pieces, cutting bell peppers longitudinal or same size as chicken.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over high heat. Add chicken in the pan once oil is hot. Cook chicken until browned, remove from the pan and set aside once cooked.
- Add another tablespoon of butter to the skillet, once melted and hot, add grated onion, garlic and blended tomatoes. Stir for 2 minutes.
- Add vegetables. Cook for 3 minutes and stir with a wooden spatula. Cover and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Add chicken back to the pan. Cook for 2 minute, Add 1 chicken stock cube and 1 tablespoon soy sauce. stir frequently.
- Add yogurt and stir to mix. Turn down heat and let simmer until the sauce thickens and is well incorporated with the rest of the ingredients.
